I believe in God.

I mean, I’ve always believed in God out of religious duties, but it took me a while to really accept in my heart that God loves who I am. So, here I am, humbly sharing what I acknowledge to be the most powerful miracle in my life: God loves not despite, but especially because of, who you are as a multi-faceted, evolving individual with all his heart, with all of who you are. It took me a while because I started studying religion seriously, at least a decade ago. Here’s what I think is just as important as any scripture. You are, and have always been, enough in the eyes of God unconditionally.

Prayer is the simplest, most profound tool we have for real-time, genuine connection.

Here is exactly what the power of prayer does immediately: gives us hope, serenity, and tranquility, often from places we didn’t think of. It takes a while, but answers to our prayers arrive in one fashion or another. Other times, God wants to hear our voice again and yet again.

It does not require grand displays or complex rituals; it only asks for a sincere heart and a moment of stillness. In my own life, prayer has been my constant anchor, providing clarity when the world feels loud and strength when the path forward seems unclear.

Many people who reach out to me, whether through digital spaces or in person, often say they feel like they have known me for a long time when they talk with me. There is a sense of ease and a lack of barriers in our conversations. I believe this happens because my heart is already open to them; I have been praying for the people I encountered and have not yet encountered for over a decade. When you hold someone in your thoughts with genuine care, the walls between you naturally begin to fall.

My mother taught me that the best advice is simply to be sincere.

This is why she remains so radiant, smiling easily at everyone she meets.

People often remark that she does not look a day over forty and is remarkably easy to get along with. Her light comes from that same place of authenticity: a belief that when you approach the world with a clean, sincere heart, people feel that warmth immediately.

Prayer is not about asking for perfection. It is about building a relationship. It is a space to breathe, to be honest about your fears, and to acknowledge your hopes. When you approach prayer with sincerity, you aren’t just asking for things; you are aligning your heart with a sense of purpose that goes beyond yourself.

If you are currently feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next step, I encourage you to use this simple practice. Find a moment of silence. Don’t worry about using the “right” words. Speak from where you are, with total honesty.

You do not need to be a public figure or have a loud voice to make an impact. You only need to show up consistently, with a clear and honest heart. That is also the true power of prayer: it turns your effort into peace, your confusion into clarity, and your connections with others into something lasting and real.

Take a breath, be sincere, and start there.

You are never as far from the answers as you think. Even simple, sincere gestures of the heart, without escaping from our mouths, are always heard and never go unnoticed.
