I cried today out of joy, out of sincere happiness because of answered prayers in my life. I also shared some laughter with my parents, who are looking after their businesses.

I often laugh at the absurdities of life and at myself to carry situations more elegantly. I believe that we should never give certain outcomes and situations the power to determine our lives. Rather, it is how we carry ourselves while handling these outcomes and situations that ultimately defines us.
I wrote before in my children’s book that everyone’s laughter is the greatest adventure. In the heyday of my early 20s, at around the age when I already bore the creases of grown-up responsibilities because I was a working student in real estate while studying, I came to understand that even more meaningfully.
Most of my clients don’t know that my first published book was a children’s book named after a condominium project where my mom bought two units in Taguig City, Metro Manila, just a stone’s throw away from Bonifacio Global City. My American friends, one of whom was a Maxwell Leadership leader, a businesswoman, and a former US military veteran, even posted on social media to share and market my books to everyone she knows in North America and beyond.
Afterward, sales appeared in real time on my Amazon Author account because many of my books are available across all Amazon.com territories, including Amazon North America and Amazon Japan. I even saw my quotes on Goodreads turned into quote images on Pinterest and featured on some WordPress blogs.
I named it after that place because I recall so many fond memories of Lakeview Manor, such as my mom buying each of us, her children, our own bicycles, video game consoles like the PlayStation 1, and computers. Like I always say, my mom’s name is written over everything good in my life. For me, because I’m the youngest, my mom bought me not only a bike but also a small F1 kart. In the 2000s, I made friends with the neighbors’ children who owned the neighborhood billiards room.
Before, I saw my handwriting on a piece of paper here at home: “I want to be a successful book author.” It brought tears to my eyes and made my heart swell with gratitude because my mom describes me as the most successful author in her eyes, someone she has always been fiercely proud of. I never advertised it before, but my mom has sold at least 60 copies of my books. My dad has sold at least 60 copies as well. While writing my works, I was simply trying to pay attention to some of the greatest artists of all time, like Salvador Dalí and Vincent van Gogh. My at least 6 books are priced at P2,500 per copy.

But the work I sincerely admire most for my first children’s book is Winnie the Pooh because it shows how we carry the wisdom of our childhood for the rest of our lives. I also admire Antoine de Saint-Exupéry for his book Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince). I even watched its film adaptation.
I am now the author of at least six books and counting, and I am also giving real estate a whirl once more, this time hoping that I can help provide homes to even more clients with a sincere heart as always. I want to write books about real estate sales, too.
In the heyday of my early 20s, I referred some sales for interior design and renovations, some sales for international real estate marketing, and some sales from my cumulative six books. Alhamdullilah.
My works are copyrighted at the National Library of the Philippines.
I’ll pray for everyone as always.
God bless.
